Mechanical Speedometer Repairs

We repair all makes of cable drive mechanical speedometers and clusters from about 1955 and up. Antique speedometer restorations are our specialty.

Typical problems are speedometer needle bounces, speedometer wiggles or speedometer makes a noise while driving. GM was the only company that actually had a repair program for speedometer rebuilding.  But they stopped in the nineties and parts for even those are not available. For most GM repairs we have exact replacement parts made by a  company that purchased the OEM GM tooling. These parts are not just for Corvette, but cover many Chevy, Olds, Cadillac, and Pontiac repairs. However, our old timer (the owner Eric ) is able to hand make many parts for other cars including bearings, gears and odometers.
